8 Beauty Secrets To Get Flawless and Glowing Summer Skin

Everybody wants to look good at the beach, by the pool or at fun Summer events. I asked beauty expert and makeup artist Rita Fioritto how to get flawless and natural glowing skin in the Summer. Ready to take notes? Here are 8 valuable beauty secrets from Rita with products recommendations:

1. Up Your Water Intake

Get a water bottle and keep drinking plenty of water to flush out toxins from your body, while giving you healthier and hydrated skin.

2. Exfoliate

For cleaner smoother skin and to better absorb hydration, Rita recommends gentle exfoliation twice a week to remove dead skin cells and leave your skin looking radiant. Do it in the morning after your cleanser and before toning your skin.

7. Pick a Moisturizer

Rita recommends to use a lighter moisturizer in the warmer months, different from the heavy moisturizer you used during the winter months. Pick a lightweight moisturizer, some already come with SPF for daytime use.

8. Sunscreen 

Rita says to apply sunscreen all year round, with a minimum of 30 SPF. A teaspoon is all you need for the face, and it should be applied every 2 hours after swimming or you been exposed in the sun. Sunscreen will help prevent discoloration and dark spots from sun damage.
